Biography
Sina, a PhD candidate specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Haskayne School of Business, holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Currently, he is working on two projects. The first focuses on optimizing an inventory system that includes a queuing mechanism for replenishment. The second involves designing a bed assignment decision tool aimed at minimizing the adverse effects of off-service placement while also reducing patient boarding time.
