Sina is a PhD candidate in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Haskayne School of Business. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. His research focuses on priority queueing systems in which low-priority customers may upgrade to high priority when their waiting time exceeds a random threshold. With applications in healthcare, inventory management, and service environments such as call centres, his work helps decision-makers assess the efficiency, accessibility, and fairness of priority systems.
