Biography
Nathanael Pribady is a first-year PhD student with a research focus that spans from technofascism, Indigenous science, posthumanist education, history of violence, decolonization, to gender and sexuality. He's currently under the supervision of Dr. Miwa Aoki Takeuchi and is excited to unlearn, deconstruct, disassemble, and destabilize his ways of knowing. Nathan is interested in transdisciplinary research that breaks the compartmentalization of education.
Besides academia, Nathan builds various educational initiatives such as Deconstructing Indonesia and Logos ID. Both initiatives have become platforms for sharing intellectual history, philosophy, grassroots organizing, and thousands of banned archives, including the Gerwani Encyclopedia (Gerwani was one of the biggest women's organizations in the world, disbanded after the 1965 Indonesian genocide) and the Indonesian Women's Encyclopedia.
