Dr. Nael Yasri

Biography

Dr. Yasri is a highly experienced academic and researcher with a strong background in electrochemical engineering, materials science, and environmental chemistry. Currently a staff member at the University of Calgary, Dr. Yasri has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Electrochemical Engineering and Materials Electrochemistry. With extensive experience in both research and teaching, Dr. Yasri has contributed to advanced studies on electrochemical processes and their applications in energy storage, water treatment, pollutant control, and the development of innovative catalysts. Previously, Dr. Yasri held a faculty position at the University of Aleppo in Syria, where he contributed to curriculum development in environmental chemistry and electrochemical techniques for environmental remediation. Dr. Yasri’s research interests focus on developing sustainable energy solutions and advancing electrochemical technologies to improve efficiency and stability for industrial applications.
