Areas of Research

AI, Uncertainty, Judgment & Decision Making, Leadership

My research focuses on advancing responsible management practices in organizations by promoting ethical, inclusive, and sustainable decision making. My first stream of research examines the ethical implementation of AI in the workplace through an employee-centric perspective, focusing on uncertainty, bias, and debiasing strategies. My second line of research addresses organizational injustice and seeks to improve workplace equity for minority and vulnerable employees through DEI initiatives, unionization efforts, and leadership behaviours such as managing mistreatment and incivility, humble leadership, and inclusive leadership. Finally, my third line of research explores how organizations can better fulfill their corporate social responsibilities. Within this work, I advocate for a stakeholder-sensitive approach to organizational CSR efforts. Together, my research contributes to a better understanding of how organizations can navigate technological, social, and ethical challenges to foster more equitable and responsible decision making. I have presented my research nationally and internationally at over 20 large-scale conferences such as the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
