Biography
Mahdi has been pursuing his PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) at the Haskayne School of Business since 2019. Prior to joining Haskayne, he earned both his master's and bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. His research is centered on the integration of Operations Research and Machine Learning techniques across diverse domains such as healthcare systems and quantitative finance. Mahdi also served as the instructor for the Business Analytics course (MGST 391) during the Winter and Fall terms of 2022 at the Haskayne School of Business.
