Energy Equity Research
I am seeking an Indigenous engineering student for a Master's degree starting Fall 2025 or Winter 2026. The position will be a part of the research team in Energy Equity. This research offers Master's student level of funding available for up to 2 years to study at the University of Calgary Schulich School of Engineering (https://schulich.ucalgary.ca/future-students/graduate/graduate-programs) . Preference is for electrical and software engineering but will consider other disciplines.
The City of Calgary recently published Calgary's Energy Equity Strategy as part of their climate equity program (https://www.calgary.ca/environment/programs/equity.html). Research work will collaborate with the City of Calgary Energy Equity programming for Urban Indigenous living in Calgary.
If you are interested in this Master's degree and student research opportunity, please reach out to myself (Jessica Bekker, jessica.bekker@ucalgary.ca) ASAP to indicate your interest.
