Background
Biography
I am a clinical assistant professor in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary and a pediatric psychologist in the Alberta Children's Hospital, Neurology Clinic/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. I also supervise trainees in our nationally-accredited hospital psychology residency program. I am particularly interested in the diagnosis and management of functional neurological disorders (FND) and clinical care pathways in epilepsy. My clinical and research interests include autonomic markers in epilepsy, functional seizures and other somatic symptom disorders. I am also actively involved in the development of psychophysiology protocols and behavioral treatments for FND, somatization and pediatric headache.
