Projects
I am passionate about student well-being and concerned about the rise in reports of loneliness, isolation and disconnection in a seemingly more technologically connected age (especially regarding these reported increasing rates among post-secondary students). In an effort to address the needs of students' social health and overall well-being, I aim to run monthly offerings of my Speed Friending and Social Courage Workshop on campus to both teach insights and skills to help students break the ice and make new connections with their peers while also providing a hands-on experience of meeting people and developing new friendships through speed-friending.
