Speed Friending and Social Courage Workshop

I am passionate about student well-being and concerned about the rise in reports of loneliness, isolation and disconnection in a seemingly more technologically connected age (especially regarding these reported increasing rates among post-secondary students).  In an effort to address the needs of students' social health and overall well-being, I aim to run monthly offerings of my Speed Friending and Social Courage Workshop on campus to both teach insights and skills to help students break the ice and make new connections with their peers while also providing a hands-on experience of meeting people and developing new friendships through speed-friending.

If you are interested in collaborating or bringing this workshop to your students, please reach out to me by email.

If you are interested in exploring the possibility of conducting research and evaluating the effectiveness of this workshop/model, please reach out by email so we can discuss possible collaboration.
