Areas of Research
Skin regeneration versus fibrosis
We leverage small (rodent) and large (reindeer) mammalian models of wound healing to understand how deep dermal injuries can regenerate new skin.
Single-cell genomics and bioinformatics
We employ cutting-edge single-cell and spatial genomics approaches to understand mechanisms driving skin scarring and regeneration.
Evidence-based wound care
We develop methods to quantify wound healing outcomes and systematically evaluate clinical evidence to provide guidance for wound care practitioners.
