Biography

I am a Colombian scholar-activist working alongside peasant and small farmer communities on issues related to land and green grabbing, deforestation, and their impacts on social reproduction, with a particular focus on gendered and generational perspectives. My previous experience includes working in Peasant Reserve Zones, coca-growing economies, militarization, the war on drugs, and counterinsurgency strategies across various regions, such as the Colombian Amazon, Magdalena Medio, and Catatumbo, with a primary focus on their effects on rural communities.
