Biomechanics and Equipment Testing
Dr Trama's research is focused on human movement analysis (i.e., biomechanics).
He uses in lab (optoelectronic cameras, forceplate, instrumented treadmill, metabolic gas analyzer) and in situ (accelerometers, EMG, pressure insoles) technology to assess the effect of diverse equipment (shoe, apparel, surface) on performance.
The company (Sport Insight) is collaborating with various industry partners (e.g., Adidas, Filedturf, Under Armour, Sport Court, Keen) to improve athlete sportswear.
