Rita Ahodetor

Biography

I am Rita Enyonam Ahodetor, and I am a permanent resident of Canada. I come from the Ehi, in the Volta Region of Ghana but I was born and breed in Cape Coast, Central Region. I had my primary to secondary education in Cape Coast. I also had my first degree from the University of Cape Coast graduating with a Second-Class Honors (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Education with French as my specialization. I graduated in the year 2022.  

I am a graduate student at the LLAC (Languages, Literature and Culture) department studying French at the University of Calgary. My research interest includes second language acquisition, sociolinguistics and morpho-syntax among others.

I love languages; hence, I speak English, French, Fante, Twi, Ewe and a little bit of Spanish.
