Biography
Rekha Gadhia is a Calgary-based leader serving as Chief Strategy and Impact Officer at Above and Beyond Care Association. As a Doctorate of Business Administration student at the University of Calgary, her research focuses on a comparative analysis of human vs. AI educational assessments in intimate partner violence training simulations. She explores how AI can meaningfully augment, not replace, human judgment in complex training environments. Rekha also chairs the Board for the Girls Action Foundation and a member of Alberta Premier’s Council on Multiculturalism. With previous 15+ years of leadership roles in the Calgary newcomer settlement and domestic violence sector, and a 2023 Woman of Distinction Award, she is a passionate changemaker working at the intersection of technology, education, and social impact.
