Research
Areas of Research
Rebecca's overall area of interest is Pediatric Endocrinology, with a particular interest in adrenal insufficiency (both primary and acquired), and in disorders of puberty and congenital hypothyroidism. In Calgary, she plans to continue clinical research in these areas as well as broadening her research interests to include Type 1 Diabetes, and hopes to investigate the effects of diabetes and types of treatment - in particular, insulin pumps - on exercise capacity / performance.
