Biography
Mr. Rafee Al Ahsan is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Software Engineering (ESE) at the University of Calgary (UofC), Canada as a Doctoral Researcher, General Associate and Ph.D. candidate. His research interests are in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Signal Processing and Wireless Communications in the deployment of 5G, 6G & beyond. He has been awarded the Alberta Innovates Graduate Scholarship Award for his Ph.D. Degree which is fully funded by the Government of Alberta and the University of Calgary as part of their acknowledgment of the advantageous research outcome of his research in the development of Green and Energy-efficient Alberta, Canada. This award provides him with Research Grants that support his Thesis. He has also been awarded the International Graduate Tuition Award, the ESE Departmental Funding Award, and a full-time fellowship at UofC. He has recently graduated with a Master of Engineering Degree from the 1st Ranked Chulalongkorn University (CU) in Bangkok, Thailand with a CGPA of 4.00. He was awarded the ASEAN & NON-ASEAN Scholarship during his Master's Degree which provided fully-funded grants towards his Master's research progress and completion.
