Biography
Paul is the Director of Emerging Technologies within Libraries & Cultural Resources. A professional librarian for over 30 years, he has held positions in Reference, Document Delivery, Data Services, and Technology Services at universities in the United States and Canada. In his current role he works within the Centre for AI Ethics Literacy and Integrity (CAIELI), and focuses on the use of chatbots for library reference services, and AI literacy for library staff and university students. He serves as the faculty/librarian advisor for the Student Advisory Panel within CAIELI.
Paul also serves as the campus support person for NVivo, useful for qualitative data analysis.
