Biography

Olusola Akintunde is an experienced finance, audit, and risk management professional with a robust academic background and extensive industry experience. He holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from University College London, alongside multiple other degrees, including an MBA, Master of Statistics, Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Applied Mathematics.

Mr. Akintunde is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK) and holds several other professional certifications, including CPA (Canada), CIA, CRMA, CFE, and PMP. His career has spanned leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including positions at Elections Alberta, the Government of Alberta, Grant Thornton LLP, Suncor Energy, and Enbridge Pipelines.

He brings valuable teaching experience as a former adjunct lecturer in business statistics and has contributed to the community through various volunteer leadership roles. His professional focus encompasses intangibles, financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, Artificial Intelligence and Electoral bodies, and business process optimization.
He has passion for teaching and impacting knowledge and great passion for research.
