Background
Biography
Interventional Pain Management is a relatively new field that targets painful spinal and musculoskeletal pain generators with image guided minimally invasive techniques. My research evaluates segmental instability in the spine, injectables to treat osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, as well as novel injectables to treat disc degeneration and disc herniation. I also evaluate the use of neuromodulation in Alberta to determine how access to this treatment could be improved.
