As a Research Scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, she established an internationally recognized research program focused on neonatal calf health and host-microbiome interactions. Her research combines microbiology, immunology, genomics, transcriptomics, and other multi-omics approaches to uncover mechanisms that shape health and disease early in life.
