Background

Biography

Nicole has a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society as well as a MSc in Community Health Sciences, specializing in Population and Public Health, from the University of Calgary. Nicole is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has training in health economics, patient engagement and pragmatic study designs. She has over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and executing research projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams. 

As the Program Manager for the Calgary Pediatric Stroke Program and BCI4Kids, Nicole directs the operations of the research program and manages the group’s many local, national and international collaborations. This large, patient-centered clinical research program is focused on understanding how the brain develops following injury early in life and developing neurotechnology solutions to enhance participation in life for children with disabilities.
