Research
Areas of Research
I'm interested in studying the ways in which digital technology, especially Large Language Models and Generative AI support, improve and changes the nature of entrepreneurship and innovation, and organization in general.
I'm interested in studying the ways in which no-code software development tools like Bubble.io, Zapier.com, Softr.io, and Webflow as well as AI coding agents like Replit.com and Cursor.com enable different kinds of entrepreneurship and new kinds of entrepreneurs.
As the author of "The Generativity Advantage" I'm interested in studying the ways in which companies can design and benefit from generative products and generativity advantage, meaning the ability to profit from the innovations of others on a massive scale.
Should entrepreneurs put all their eggs in one basket or try different projects? The experimentation strategy of entrepreneurs is a key question in entrepreneurship research. New technologies including artificial intelligence are enabling approaches to experimentation that were not possible before, and this needs to be studied.
How do LLMs think and behave in the context of complex entrepreneurial, managerial and organizational issues? When and how can they support human decision making? How are they inclined to behave as economic actors and how can their business and economic activity be steered or manipulated? These are important questions to study in the era of generative AI.
