Background
Biography
I attended the Cumming School of Medicine at University of Calgary where I received my Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency training. In 2014, I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). After residency, I completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2015.
Currently, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Section of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, within the Department of Surgery at the Cumming School of Medicine. I am the Rockyview General Hospital Site Chief for the Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. The focus of my practice is thyroid & parathyroid surgery.
As a member of the Residency Training Committee, I am regularly involved in the clinical teaching of our Otolaryngology residents and teach Anatomy in the UME curriculum. Research is also an important aspect of my career and am actively involved in various projects and have several peer-reviewed articles in publication.
