Biography
Mica Gabrielle Marbil is a Ph.D. candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Calgary. She is supervised by Dr. Kathryn (Katie) Birnie, and is a trainee in the Partnering for Pain research program. Mica’s current research interests center around health disparities in the assessment, treatment, and outcomes of pediatric chronic pain. Through collaborative research and meaningful engagement, Mica hopes to address the systemic inequities that disproportionately affect the experiences of equity-denied groups living with chronic pain.
