Biography

Dr. Megan Thomas is a current Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine with an interest in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in health research. She focuses on how social determinants of health (income, education, race, etc.) can impact access to both research and care, particularly for those living with chronic conditions such as arthritis. Dr. Thomas conducts mixed methods, patient-oriented research to ensure study findings can have a meaningful impact for end-users.
