Biography

Md Tanvir Hossain Bhuiyan is a Master of Engineering student in the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Department at the University of Calgary. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University, where his undergraduate research focused on bio-inspired airfoil design under the supervision of academic mentors in fluid dynamics and aerospace systems.

He has contributed to multiple research initiatives, with conference papers presented at international engineering forums, covering areas such as aerodynamics, UAV development, and thermal engineering systems. He possesses strong technical skills in ANSYS, SolidWorks, and wind tunnel experimentation, supported by a solid foundation in applied mathematics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis.

He has gained industrial training experience at Biman Bangladesh Airlines and the Bangladesh Air Force (214 MRO and 216 MRO units), where he was exposed to real-world maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations. During this training, he observed aircraft maintenance procedures, structural inspections, and overhaul practices for both commercial and military aircraft.
