Biography

My research focuses on combinatorial commutative algebra and effective educational methodologies, with a focus on creating engaging and enjoyable learning experiences in mathematics. I actively promote mathematics education through initiatives like math circles, workshops, various math contests and outreach programs aimed at increasing engagement among diverse student groups.

I am passionate about making math relevant and enjoyable, contributing to curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning. My dedication to both research and education is reflected in my publication record, participation in international conferences, and my commitment to fostering equity and inclusion in mathematics.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities 

I am open to support up to two undergraduate students interested in conducting independent research in Combinatorial Commutative Algebra during the Spring/Summer of 2026. I am able to support students funded by PURE award, for which I will support in developing their application. Interested students should contact me by early December 2025.
