Biography

Max has been with Enbridge since 2012 and was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in January 2022.  He is responsible for capital allocation, investment review, corporate business development including M&A.

Prior to this, Max was Vice President, Treasury and Enterprise Risk. In this role, Max was responsible for leading his team in enterprise-wide capital markets, bank relationships, cash management, credit rating agencies, project cost of capital, financial hedging, risk control and assessment, pension investments, and credit. Previously, Max oversaw capital raising for Enbridge and has been responsible for over $70 billion of financings.

Max holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, an MBA from Dalhousie University and has completed the High Potentials Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School. Max is also a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. In the community, Max is a Senator at the University of Calgary and is a board member for Inn From The Cold, a not for profit in Calgary. In early 2022, Max was named one of Canada’s top 50 Changemakers by Report On Business Magazine.
