Areas of Research

Activities

Physical Hydrology is the study of physical processes in the hydrologic cycle.

My research generally combines detailed field observation and experiments with mathematical analysis.

The major topics of my current research are the following:

  • Alpine hydrology in the Rockies
  • Permafrost Hydrology in the Sub-Arctic
  • Hydrology of Seasonaly Frozen Soil
  • Prairie Hydrology
  • Hydrology of Banff Hot Springs
