Dr. Marina Journault

Biography

Dr. Journault (she/her) is from Edmonton, AB. She completed her undergraduate degree in Pharmacology with Distinction and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Alberta. Following medical school, Dr. Journault pursued a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She then specialized further with a sub-specialty residency in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (NPM) at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Journault continued her advanced training with a joint clinical fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics and Newborn Critical Care at the University of Calgary focussing on early cerebral palsy (CP) diagnosis and early childhood neurodevelopment. She is passionate about developmental care in the NICU and supporting families through their NICU and follow-up journeys.
