Biography
Dr. Lucy Swift is an Optical Imaging Specialist at the Live Cell Imaging Laboratory (LCI) within the Snyder Institute at the University of Calgary. Lucy joined the LCI after completing her PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowships in cancer cell biology, with a focus on the DNA damage response, cell division and cell death. She has expertise in wide-field, confocal and super-resolution microscopy and specializes in live cell imaging. Lucy is passionate about using her cell biology background to provide research relevant microscopy education and support cutting-edge research in the imaging field.
