More Information
I am Leda (Led-ah / Le-dda / Leh-da) Stawnychko, an Associate Professor of Strategy and Organizational Theory at Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business. I also hold adjunct academic appointments at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and the Cumming School of Medicine.
My roots are in Monterrey—Mexico’s industrial capital surrounded by majestic mountains—and those early experiences continue to shape how I understand leadership, sustainability, and community. Over more than two decades working across public, private, and nonprofit sectors nationally and internationally, I have focused on supporting the development of leaders who are effective, adaptive, and grounded in purpose.
These experiences have shaped my academic path and continue to guide my commitment to strengthening the places where people learn, work, and lead.
