My research focuses on advancing the understanding of brain injury and development and related long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes in vulnerable preterm infants, through multi-modality neuro-monitoring, brain imaging and the identification of early clinical and biochemical prediction markers. My work informs innovative clinical and therapeutic neuroprotective strategies to improve brain health and functioning of preterm infants across the lifespan.
