My research focuses on the improvement of prognostication for pediatric patients with complex neurological disease by better understanding their neurodevelopmental trajectories. I am interested in using advanced neuroimaging and neuromonitoring techniques to understand their relationship with functional outcomes, primarily in patients that present to the neurocritical care team in the ICU setting. Additionally, I am interested in quality improvement and assurance in neurocritical care and using big data to identify gaps in knowledge and practice and improve guidelines and care pathways.
