Biography

Kenna has been with the University of Calgary since 2013. Kenna serves as Manager, Faculty Development at the Cumming School of Medicine and lead for the Health Professions Education Leadership stream of the Precision Health graduate program. Prior to this, Kenna worked in a variety of areas, including residency education in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, teaching and learning and academic relations at the Haskayne School of Business, and transdisciplinary education in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Kenna is a doctoral candidate at Werklund School of Education, focusing on addressing harm in postsecondary environments. She loves curricular development and teaching, with broad interests such as social justice, adult learning, health professions education, transdisciplinarity, career development and processes/practices in higher education.
