Biography
Kelsey is completing her PhD in Archaeology with Dr. Peter Dawson examining the use of aerial imaging for visualization and digital archiving of cultural landscapes associated with ice patches in the Southern Yukon working with three local First Nations. She is interested in youth outreach and education, as well as remote sensing methodologies applied to archaeology for digital heritage preservation and public communication. She completed her MA in Archaeology in 2019 using LiDAR for recording a buffalo jump site threatened due to erosion, and obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science in Geoarchaeology from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 2016.
