I am examining health services delivery to pediatric patients with complex medical issues, in particular healthcare utilization and costs of current and potential models. First, I am looking at multidisciplinary clinics for patients with severe asthma: its impact on healthcare utilization, and patients and their caregivers' quality of life. I am also interested in technology-dependent children (eg. tracheostomy/ventilation), and hope to establish a database to capture their health outcomes and utilization.
