Biography
Julius Allan Rondilla, CDME is an accomplished events specialist with over seven years of experience leading conferences, summits, and high-profile gatherings across Canada and internationally. Based in Calgary, Julius currently works at the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary, where he oversees strategic event initiatives that bring together government officials, industry leaders, academics, and the public to tackle pressing policy issues.
His portfolio includes major national events such as Canada’s Productivity Summit and the ongoing Canada’s Productivity Initiative conference tour, as well as the 2025 G7 pre-summit conference: Plans, Prospects and Possibilities. This conference featured former Canadian prime ministers the Right Hon. Jean Chretien, the Right Hon. Joe Clark, among many other senior policymakers. Julius is known for his meticulous attention to detail, collaborative leadership style, and ability to manage complex logistics while maintaining a focus on audience experience and strategic outcomes.
Before transitioning into public policy and academia, Julius built a strong foundation in international B2B events as a Senior Event Coordinator with Generis Group. There, he managed logistics and budgets for executive-level summits in the medical, biomanufacturing, and supply chain sectors. He also contributed to investor relations and virtual event production during his time at Q4 Inc., supporting global companies such as Eventbrite and Marriott Vacations Worldwide.
Beyond his institutional roles, Julius is the co-founder and director of the Oshawa Music Awards, where he leads business operations and event logistics for an annual celebration of Ontario’s musical talent.
With a background in digital marketing, communications, and creative production, Julius blends operational excellence with a storyteller’s mindset; creating events that inform, inspire, and connect.
