Biography

Dr Juan Pablo Appendino is a Paediatric Neurologist – Epileptologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) in Calgary, Alberta, CANADA. He is the Director of the Neuro-Metabolic Therapy service at the ACH. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics of the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. He is the current President of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN). He is the leader of the Drug and Therapeutics Committee at the CLAE. His main clinical-research interest includes EEG-Trends use in neuro-critical monitoring, drug-resistant epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet and autism.
