Biography
Jolene joined the Smith lab in June 2022 as the Program Manager for the VAST Health Research Training Program.
Jolene completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary in 2022 in Dr. Arin Sen's group. Her work focused on determining the impact of culture parameters relevant to the scale up of adult stem cell populations. Specifically, focusing on the production of their secreted products as therapeutics in applications of articular cartilage repair, cerebral ischemia, and intracranial aneurysm repair.
