Biography

Dr. Prentice is the Associate Director of the University of Calgary Psychology Clinic. Her clinical interests include working with adults and older adults in a variety of clinical settings including oncology, multi-organ transplant programs, geriatric ambulatory care, behavioural neurology, and neuromodulation programs. In addition, she provides expertise in early diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, and frontotemporal lobar degeneration and the characterization of cognitive abilities for treatment planning and patient education and management. Her therapeutic orientation is integrative drawing most heavily from ACT, CBT, Self-Compassion, and Motivational Interviewing. Dr. Prentice’s approach to supervision is developmental and collaborative.
