Biography

Dr. Jennifer Dodd received her BSc in Zoology from the University of Calgary in 2000 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in 2005. She began her career in mixed animal practice in Alberta, before returning to WCVM as a Clinical Associate in Anesthesia. During her time at the WCVM, she also pursued additional training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, including acupuncture and Tui-Na (Chinese medical massage), reflecting her commitment to integrative approaches to patient care.

In 2012, Dr. Jennifer transitioned back into companion animal practice in Saskatchewan and later in Alberta, with an initial focus on emergency medicine before moving into general practice. Since relocating to Ontario in 2019, she has served as an Associate Veterinarian at Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital and completed her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) designation in 2022, supporting her multidisciplinary approach to patient wellness. Dr. Jennifer has served as the rehabilitation veterinarian at Collingwood Active Pets.
