Biography

Jennie is the Director, Strategic Operations for the Centre for Transformation (Family Justice System), situated within the Faculties of Social Work and Law. She is a results oriented, strategic thinker with a passion for leading systems-level, transformation work that supports community health and well-being. Her professional experience spans across the public and non-profit sectors, including the University of Calgary, The City of Calgary, YMCA Calgary, Alberta Health Services, and Commonwealth Games Canada. Jennie has specialized expertise in research (qualitative and quantitative, participatory methods, action research), evaluation design, performance measurement, community development, sport and physical activity programming and pedagogy, healthy child development, and organizational leadership and management. In her spare time you will find her doing any sort of active adventure in the mountains with family and friends.
