Background

Biography

Dr. Parsons-Leigh completed a PhD in Sociology with a specialization in qualitative research methodologies (2014), and a postdoctoral fellowship in health services research (2015) at the University of Calgary. Her current research is broadly focused on investigating the institutional organization of healthcare (i.e. the how and why of institutional design and organizational practice) to improve quality and outcomes, and partnering with patients and families to close knowledge-to-practice gaps.
