Dr. Guosong Wu is an assistant professor in Health Care Analytics at Cape Breton University, and an Evidence-Informed Fellow at Kellogg College, University of Oxford. He received his Ph.D. in Health Services Research from the Department of Critical Care Medicine, University of Calgary. With a robust background in health services research and medicine, Dr. Wu's research interests lie in measuring care quality and safety through machine learning-driven analytics of structured (ICD codes) and unstructured (text data) electronic medical records and administrative databases. Dr. Wu leads randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and large cohort studies to determine the optimal clinical interventions for surgical and cancer patients.
