Background

Biography

Dr. Wu completed radiation oncology residency training in Vancouver in 1998, after which he underwent 18 months of clinical fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, subspecialising in GU and Palliative Radiation Oncology. As junior radiation oncologist at the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre, he contributed to clinical practice guidelines development in palliative radiation therapy for bone pain. From 2004 to 2010, he participated in various academic and research committees, including the Royal College and the NCIC Clinical Trials Group; and from 2014 to 2020, he served as a reviewer for CIHR (RCT committee).  He remains a vice chair on the Health Research Ethics Board of Alberta Cancer Committee.
