Biography
Dr. Smith is from Oakville, Ontario and she completed medical school at McMaster University. She then joined the cardiac surgery team in Calgary to complete her cardiac surgery residency. Dr. Smith moved to Texas for a fellowship to grow her career and focus on the development of the skills needed to perform complex aortic surgery. Dr. Smith joined the cardiac surgery team in Calgary in 2022.
