Biography

I earned a Ph.D. in Oriental Studies with a specialization in East European and Middle Eastern history from the University of Warsaw (Poland) and Lund University (Sweden). My research interests focus on exploring pluralism and multiculturalism through anthropological and linguistic lenses, particularly within diverse societies.
My Ph.D. dissertation examined Circassian linguistic identity, focusing on the formation of linguistic and cultural identity within the context of the Circassian Question in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Following my doctoral studies, I held adjunct positions at the Center for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw and the Center for Central Eurasian Studies at the University of Tehran, where I taught courses on History of Middle East, Caucasian Languages, Governance in Eurasia, Ethnicities in the Caucasus and Central Asia, and Persian Language remotely.
Currently, my research concentrates on analyzing the interplay between national identity, ethnoreligious background, and conflict transformation in MENA.
