Biography

I am Calgary-born and attended high school here. I did my undergraduate and medical school training at Queen's University at Kingston. After 7 years in rural family medicine, I returned to training as a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Dartmouth College and McMaster University. Upon completion of my training, I began work here at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute in June, 2008. In 2016, I expanded my interest and training in health policy with an MSc. in health economics from the London School of Economics.
