Biography

As a philosopher, my academic journey intertwines teaching, research, with a view to public engagement. My research delves into the realms of logic, ethics, and the philosophy of language, with a focus on topics such as paraconsistency, epistemic/deontic logic, and the philosophy of logic. I've taught Logic I & II, Information Technology Ethics, Business Ethics, and Bioethics, which cover a range of topics, from the semantics of first-order logic to the ethical implications of autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence.

My teaching has taken me from Dalhousie University, the University of Lethbridge, the University of Alberta, and finally to the University of Calgary. In British Columbia, I held a Banting postdoctoral fellowship at UBC, and then spent some time as a policy analyst as a MITACS Canadian Science Policy Fellow for the BC provincial government.

To see my publications on topics and philosophical inquiries that captivate me, take a look on my PhilPeople page.
