Gillian Rasmussen

Biography

Gillian brings over 20 years of expertise in human resources, organizational development, and facilitation. For a decade, she worked in private consulting, partnering with clients to design and deliver impactful learning and leadership development programs. Her work has empowered individuals and teams to realize their potential, and her experience spans organizations of all sizes—from small, family-run businesses to international corporations. Notable clients include the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the federal and provincial governments, and the United Nations Office of Administrative Justice. 

An alumnus of the University of Calgary (BA in Psychology, 2000), Gillian has applied her passion for understanding human behavior to create training and organizational programs that address the human side of work. She is dynamic facilitator and coach who creates inclusive environments where people feel safe to share and learn. Her energy and enthusiasm make even challenging topics engaging and accessible. 

Gillian joined the Organizational Development (OD) Team in June 2023. The OD Team consists of dedicated internal consultants who support leaders in developing the skills and mindsets needed to build and lead thriving teams. Collaborating closely with HR Partners and leaders, the team designs and facilitates customized sessions that promote collegiality, respect, accountability, and a holistic approach to leadership.
